RACE TO THE FINISH

FULLERTON — Fullerton and Twin River competed last week in the Fullerton Invite.Fullerton’s boys and girls each finished sixth overall. Twin River’s boys finished eighth and a limited number of girls competed, finishing 12th overall.

Warriors finish 6th at Wood River Invite

CAIRO — Fullerton finished sixth overall at the Wood River Invite at Centura Hills Golf Course.Kearney Catholic took home the team title, shooting a 313. Fullerton finished with a 413.Fullerton’s Cayden Scheffler finished eighth overall, shooting an 89 on the day.

FULLERTON — The Warriors look to improve every time they step on the golf course.Fullerton opened their golf season this week and Fullerton coach Shawn Ostransky has a good problem to have: A deep roster.

Warriors earn Goldenrod Conference honors

FULLERTON — Fullerton basketball players received conference honors last week.Kane Wetovick was selected to the Goldenrod All-Conference First Team. Hunter Gochenour was selected to the Goldenrod All-Conference Third Team.

Warriors seek to continue track excellence

FULLERTON — Every time you walk on the track, look to improve.That is the message Fullerton track coach Jason Maxfield has for his squad this year. This year’s group features 29 athletes — 21 boys and 8 girls — ranging from state qualifiers to first time participants.
