The Margaret Russell Fund distributed grants to area agencies. This year the fund gave $5,000 to the City of Genoa for the ballfields; $3,400 to NanceTrans; $8,000 to the Nance County Ag Society and City of Fullerton for grandstand improvements and the art barn.
Thayne Louden was recognized for 40 years of continuous membership to Omaha Fleet Reserve Association.
