The Piecin’Pals Quilt Guild met Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at the Cedar Rapids Community Center. Where the members told of a fall related word which started with the first letter of their names. Rita Smiley gave the Treasurer’s report and Sue McIntyre read the minutes of the last meeting.

Ten years ago October 22, 2014Jaxson Sullivan finished first in a Taekwondo tournament.Fullerton’s FFA team qualified for the State land judging contest. The team consisted of Dustin Warner, Garrett Sonderup, Tyler Prososki and Will Meyer.

October is sometimes referred to as “Pastor Appreciation Month.” As I recalled the many pastors over the years who have helped me to grow in my walk with the Lord, I found myself automatically thinking about the churches they (and I) were part of.

Community Builders to meet in Humphrey on Nov. 13

Community Builders announces the next town tour to be held in Humphrey on Wednesday, Nov. 13. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. with lunch at Klub 81. Tours include Northern Plains Coating, Tin Can Coffee, Humphrey Swimming Pool, and High Flyers Golf Bar.
