This is the 20th year of offering a golf camp to students in 5th-9th grades for Nance County and area schools.A Junior Golf Camp was held at Pawnee Hills for students in 5th through 9th grades on June 10-13 with 28 campers attending from Nance County area schools.

Club News Briefs

The June meeting of the Piecin’ Pals was held on June 5,2024 with 2 joining guests. We welcome Mary Jane Sellers of Fullerton and Jaci Nore of Albion to our group. Shelley Towey asked the fourteen members there who noted their favorite months of the year and why.

UNL Extension

Fruit trees may drop small, undeveloped fruit in June. Finding a number of small fruits on the ground can cause concern all fruit will drop but this will not happen. For the most part, June drop is a good thing. Instead of growers having to manually thin fruit, the tree does some of it.
