JOY Club returns Sept. 4

FULLERTON — Parents, if you are looking for a great after school activity for your elementary age children, JOY Club is the answer.All children, K-6th grade, are invited to JOY Club this school year at Victory Baptist Church, 210 Germand St. Club meetings take place right after school to 5 p.m.

Fullerton Museum works with the Nance County Historical Society collecting and displaying history from Belgrade, Fullerton, and Genoa. We’re always looking for Fullerton or Nance County related items. Volunteers are always welcome to help clean, display, or decorate.

Club News

The August meeting of the Flowerbelles met at the home of Brenda Malander on the 16th. Roll was called with nine members and two guests present. There was no old business to discuss.Brenda shared information on a lavender farm in Dannebrog as a good place to visit some day.

Grace Notes

Next Monday many will observe Labor Day by NOT going to their respective places of employment. They will have the day off.Others will continue to carry out their daily duties that day. Farmers. Stay at home moms. Care givers of an aging parent or spouse. Hospital and nursing home employees.
