As I sit at my computer on a Sunday evening to write another weekly column, a number of thoughts are going through my head. First: Today would have been my Aunt Adriana’s 100th birthday.

UNMC announces spring 2024 dean’s list

The University of Nebraska Medical Center has announced its spring 2024 dean’s list for students enrolled in nursing, dentistry, pharmacy and the allied health professions of medical imaging and therapeutic sciences program and medical laboratory science.

Lower Loup NRD announces photo winners

Winning photographs have been chosen in the Lower Loup NRD’s 2024 Photo Contest. In the competition that ran from November 2023 through May 15, 2024, thirty-five photographers from the Lower Loup NRD and across Nebraska submitted 330 images.
