The Nance County Sheriff’s Office will be distributing water in Fullerton.
Anyone who needs drinking water can get cases of bottled water at the Nance County Sheriff’s Office. If you are unable to drive, lift a case of water, or have mobility problems, please call the sheriff’s office and they will deliver water to you. The Sheriff’s Office is working closely with the city administration and Fullerton Public Schools to make sure that plenty of drinking water is available and on hand.
Sheriff Bakewell would like to thank Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen, Hy-Vee Columbus, Region 44 Emergency Management, and Nebraska Preparedness Partnership for supply thousands of bottles of water. Sheriff Bakewell was able to directly communicate with Governor Pillen on Sunday evening, the next day 4 pallets of water were delivered to the Sheriff’s Office by Hy-Vee in Columbus.
“This is an example of how government should work,” Bakewell said.
