FULLERTON — Summer fun begins on Tuesday.

The Fullerton Betterment Committee, an arm of the Fullerton Area Chamber, announced that they are planning a Summer Kickoff and Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest on Tuesday from 3:30-7 p.m. on Broadway St.

The Nance County Sheriff’s Department will escort students from the school to Broadway for the festivities. Join the committee for food, music, games and sidewalk chalk art contests for all ages. The contest is open to students and adults. Chalk and sidewalk space will be provided. Pre-registration is not required. Prizes will be given to winning artists.
