FULLERTON — It will cost a little more to attend Warrior home games in the fall.
The Fullerton Public Schools Board of Education voted Monday night to increase admission cost to attend sporting events.
The new cost is $6 for adults and $5 for students. An pass can be purchased for $50 for adults, $35 for students and $30 for elementary students.
Fullerton Superintendent Dr. JeffAnderson said that the district had not raised admission cost in a number of years.
He noted that attendance was down last year and viewership had increased for Youtube broadcasts of Warrior sporting events.
Anderson said that the admission cost is comparable to what other schools in the area charge. He said that even with the increase it still less than the cost to attend a district or conference event.
Fullerton opens the football season Aug. 25 at home against Central Valley.
