NANCE COUNTY — The Nance County Board of Supervisors are working to obtain state and federal funds after heavy rains and floods left many county roads damaged or completely washed away.“We are declaring a disaster from the storm,” Nance County Supervisor Tim Cornwell said.

Annual event returning to Genoa

Work to begin on US-183, north of Ansley

NORTH PLATTE — Weather permitting, work will begin July 15 on US-183, from reference post 89 to reference post 99, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation. Werner Construction of Hastings is the contractor for this project.
