Fullerton classes took a break from the school day on Monday to go outside and look at the partial solar eclipse. Students, like people all over the nation, were able to safely look at the cosmic event with proper eye wear. The view from Nebraska saw about 80 percent of the sun obscured.

Cemetery Association receives $5,000 check

Ashley Boryca, board member of the Nance County Foundation, presented a check for $5,000 to Butch Horacek, Vice President, and board member of the Fullerton Cemetery Association, to go toward the purchase of a loader tractor that will be used to help with upkeep of the Fullerton Cemetery.

Crews work to restore power after ice storm

A March ice and windstorm traveled through Cornhusker Public Power District’s service area on Monday, March 25, 2024, causing approximately 2,800 meters to be without power, many for two days. The storm started the morning of March 25th and did not let up until the evening of March 26th.
