GENOA — The future of Twin River Schools is in the hands of the voters as the district asks the community to support a bond not to exceed $48.5 million. There are still two community meetings where members of the public can discuss and learn more about the plan, at 7 p.m.

Troopers Stop 118 Speeders for 100+ MPH in July

LINCOLN  — Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol stopped 118 people for driving at 100 miles per hour or more during the month of July. The effort coincided with the nationwide law enforcement campaign focused on the dangers of speeding.

LINCOLN — Fourteen Boone and Nance County 4-H members competed in the Premier Animal Science Event (PASE), a two-day fun educational challenge held at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, East Campus. Participants could compete in a wide array of events.
