The Fullerton Powerlifting Team participated in the Class-D State Powerlifting competition on Saturday. The meet was held in Harvard and featured teams from across the state of Nebraska.

City looking into lottery contract

FULLERTON — The city of Fullerton is looking into a way to get out of a contract that autorenews each year without losing the revenue the contract brings in.The Fullerton City Council voted last week at their March meeting to cancel the contract with Lotto Nebraska.

The Fullerton TeamMates enjoyed a fun-filled day in Lincoln on Sunday. The trip took the group to see the Broadway production of Annie at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. They also took in a wonderful meal along with live singing performances at Screamers in the Haymarket area.

Ciancio Hardware to close doors

FULLERTON — A local business has announced they will close their doors for the final time next month.Ciancio Hardware announced on Monday that they will be closing permanently on April 15. The business has been on the market since October.

Mach joins Fullerton City Council

Troopers arrest 18 drivers during St. Patrick’s Day campaign

LINCOLN  —  Nebraska State Troopers removed 18 impaired drivers from the road as part of a special enforcement effort around St. Patrick’s Day.“For many, St. Patrick’s Day marks the beginning of the spring travel season,” said Colonel John Bolduc, Superintendent of the Nebraska State Patrol.
