Corn board to meet

LINCOLN — The Nebraska Corn Board will hold its next meeting on Thursday, Jan. 23, at the Nebraska Cattlemen office (4611 Cattle Drive) in Lincoln.The meeting is open to the public, providing the opportunity for public comment. The board will conduct regular board business.

Creating a safer community: The Green Dot strategy

A recent Green Dot training in Nebraska brought together 56 participants from various organizations. Since completing the program, these participants have introduced the Green Dot initiative to hundreds of individuals across the state, significantly expanding its reach and impact.

Small scenes, big dreams

FULLERTON — The scenes may be small, but one Fullerton resident is dreaming big.Allen Zimmerman recently launched a new business — Allen’s N Scale World. He creates scenes that can be used with model railroads or just encapsulated by itself in a container.“Most people call them dioramas,” he said.
