Dear Editor, I was saddened, but not surprised to see that fentanyl has made its way to Nance County.

It was a matter of time.

Now what? To pretend that you can prevent it’s spread or use by teens, young adults, and others, is a fool’s errand. The focus now should be educating first responders, teachers, and the general public how to respond to an overdose.
