Red Wagon Parade set for Sept. 6

FULLERTON — The Warriors are ready for Homecoming.

The Red Wagon Parade and Pep Rally down Main Street will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6. Fullerton will take on Nebraska Lutheran at 7 p.m. on Friday for the Homecoming Game.

The festivities will begin around 3 p.m. Friday at the school, with the Booster Club’s Little Red Wagon Parade led by the Fullerton School Band. The red wagons will be followed by the Homecoming Royalty and the football team. There will be a pep rally downtown following the parade at the corner of Broadway and Third Street.

The Warriors’ homecoming opponent will be the Nebraska Lutheran Knights, whose colors are Royal Blue and Yellow Gold. School groups, businesses and organizations are encouraged to show their support by entering a float in the Red Wagon Parade. Entry forms for the parade are available in the school office. Judging of the floats will be at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6 at the school. The Coronation and Dance will take place Saturday, Sept. 7 in the old gym with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. Coronation will take place at 8 p.m. and is open to the public. The high school will hold a dance for students from 8:30-11 p.m.
