FULLERTON — Nance County Sheriff’s office and the Nebraska State Patrol are investigating the death of a man found inside a car south of Fullerton.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call just after noon on Thursday of a person in a vehicle on Highway 14 at mile marker 97. The caller indicated that the person might not be alive.
Deputies were on the scene within 5 minutes and found a deceased male with a gun shot wound. The immediate area was searched for threats and the area was blocked off and secured until investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol arrived on the scene.
The name of the deceased male is not being released at this time.
