Open house scheduled for Monday
FULLERTON — Fullerton Public Library has something new to offer.
The library now has a Makerspace where patrons can create different items. The library has a laser printer and all the equipment for sublimation (putting an image on mugs, ornaments, bags, t-shirts, etc.).
The public is invited to an open house on Monday to get a firsthand look at the new Makerspace. The open house is from 6:30-8 p.m. on Monday at the library.
The library has remodeled what was a storage room and created the new Makerspace. Everything is now set up for the public to come to the library and make gifts and other items.
To use the Makerspace, a patron must have a library card in good standing, sign a waiver and schedule a time to use the space so that a librarian is available to assist as needed. The cost varies depending on what material you are using for your gift and other items.
Stop by the library during the open house and start creating great gifts right here in Fullerton.
