Fullerton water safe to drink

Boil order lifted after 8 days

FULLERTON — The boil order has been lifted.

The City of Fullerton announced on Saturday that the water was again safe to consume. Residents were under the order since Oct. 18 after E. coli was found in Fullerton’s water supply.

“We are pleased to report that the contamination has been corrected,” the city released in a statement. “Special samples have been submitted and the results are total coliform and E. coli negative. You no longer need to boil your water or use bottled water. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
