LETTER: Reader imagines interaction with Sen. Lippincott

I just read Loren Lippincott’s column recommending Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. It put me in mind if a dialogue Captain Lippincott might have had with a passenger while flying his plane.

Passenger: I have some really good ideas about how you should fly this plane.

Lippincott: Really, are you a certified pilot? Where did you get your license?

Passenger: While I don’t have a license and have never flown a plane, I read lots of postings on the internet and I watch Fox News. I think that I can really give you some good tips.

Lippincott: Well, thank you very much. Please go back to your seat and I will ask the stewardess to give you a free bourbon.
