CEDAR RAPIDS — The Warriors battled on the road on Thursday but could not pull off the upset.
Fullerton took the first set against Riverside, dropped a close one in the second set. The Chargers won 23-25, 25-23, 25-15.
Fullerton was led by Jaci Maxfield (9 kills) and Laine Ziemba (6 kills, 8 digs).
No. 6 Central Valley defeated Fullerton 25-10, 25-19.
