MADISON — They just could not overcome a slow start.
Madison opened the game on Saturday outscoring Twin River 12-1 in the first quarter. The short-handed Titans were playing their first game without senior Delaney Reeg, who broke her wrist on Tuesday in a 50-24 loss to Central City. They also were missing Jlee Van Driel, who was in Texas for a softball camp.
