    HUMPHREY — Winter weather may have delayed it a few days, but area basketball teams are back on the hardwood ready to compete for a Goldenrod Conference title.

    Fullerton’s girls team opened conference play on Tuesday, taking on Elba at Burwell . The winner advanced to take on Class D-2 No. 9 St. Francis on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. in Humphrey.
