    ALBION — Cool, brisk mornings are the ideal conditions for most runners.

    Fullerton and Twin River competed on Friday at the Boone Central Invite at Albion Country Club and runners took advantage of the cooler temperatures.

    Fullerton junior Tate Wood finished 27th overall in the race with a time of 19:29. He was 8 seconds faster and 17 spots better than his finish at the race last year.
