Fans at Friday's challenge between the Fullerton Lady Warriors and the visiting Ansley/Litchfield Spartans (Ansley, NE), saw Fullerton's girls basketball squad hold off Ansley/Litchfield by a tally of 39-35. With the victory, Fullerton improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign.

Warrior Wrestlers Competed in Osceola

The Warrior Varsity competed last Saturday, December 10th in the 2022 Osceola Wrestling Invite. Osceola High School hosted a total of 19 teams for the tournament. Four of the seven wrestlers competing for the Warriors were Roe Patton, Dillon Fitzgerald, Myles Smith, and Ethan Hoback.

The game started out fast paced and High Plains took an early lead. Fullerton turned the ball over after a couple of possessions forcing Coach Thomas to call in early time out to settle the team down. After the timeout Fullerton settled in and started to close in on the lead.

On Thursday, the Fullerton Warriors boy’s basketball team hit the road to face off with the Burwell Longhorns. The Warriors started off hot against the defending Class D1 3rd place finishers.

Fullerton girls started the season traveling to Burwell to face the Longhorns. The Lady Warriors started out well, scoring sixteen points to Burwell’s ten in the first quarter.

On Friday, October 2 the Warrior Varsity competed at Columbus Lakeview to open the 2022-2023 wrestling season. Wrestlers Brett Bridger and Zane Koziol were present but did not wrestle in the tournament. Wrestling at 132 pounds, sophomore Ethan Hoback went 1-2 on the day.
