No. 8 Fullerton dominant in wins

POLK — For the second game in a row, the Class D-1 No. 8 Warriors dominated its opponent.Fullerton (2-0) opened Saturday’s match up with High Plains with a 17-3 run. The Warriors cruised to a 69-37 win over the Storm.Fullerton held a comfortable 26-11 lead after the first 8 minutes.

Warriors have strong day in Columbus

COLUMBUS — The 2025 Columbus Lakeview Invite was held on Friday, December 5th at Lakeview High School.There was both a boys’ and girls’ tournament with the Fullerton Warriors boys and girls and the Twin River girls both in their first action of the season.

Titans get career night from Rodriguez in opener

SHELBY— Twin River opened the season with a 52-43 win to open the season.The Titans were led by Corbin Rodriguez, who finished with a career high 30 points. The senior scored 9 points in the fourth quarter, including going 6-of-11 from the free throw line in the quarter.

Titans fall to Huskies in opener

SHELBY — A short-handed Titans squad struggled at times on Saturday in their season-opener against Shelby-Rising City, falling 48-26.Playing without Mya Ramaekers and Adalyn Bishop, Twin River struggled at times to get into their offense. On defense, the Titans relied on zone defense.

BROKEN BOW — Twin River opened the 2025-26 season on Saturday at the Broken Bow Invite, and they did not return home empty-handed.Cade Kunkel won the 113-pound weight class, going 2-0 on the day with a pair of pins.

Warriors winless, but improving

POLK — The season may be young, but Fullerton is showing signs of improvement.The Warriors (0-2) dropped a pair of games to open the season. Fullerton fell to High Plains 36-16 on Saturday. They opened the season with a 67-45 loss to Burwell on Thursday.

Warriors have eyes on Lincoln return

FULLERTON — The Warriors got a taste of State last year and they want to go back.Fullerton looks to build off their 17-9 season from a year ago. The Warriors return a talented core of players and are setting the bar high this year.

Balanced Titans ready for new season

GENOA — Great things are in store for the Twin River boys’ basketball team.This year’s squad will look to improve on the 11-14 record from a year ago. They are looking for their first winning season since 2019-2020, when the Titans went 15-10.

Warriors blend experience, youth

FULLERTON — The wrestling season opens this week, and the Warriors are hitting the ground running.Fullerton coach Zach Bialas said that his squad came into the season ready to roll and they have already gone through the basics and have been working on more advanced techniques.
