City reviews nuisance property procedures

FULLERTON — The city of Fullerton is looking at revamping their nuisance procedures.The city council discussed the process with April Sack, city deputy clerk and ordinance official, last week at their monthly meeting. Sack told the council that the ordinance has not been updated in “quite some time.

City OKs 50/50 split for dam work

FULLERTON — Discussions continued last week regarding the removal of the dam at Power House Park.Kevin Gustafson, an engineer with Lower Loup NRD, told the Fullerton City Council at their meeting on Tuesday that the engineering and design portion of the project will cost about $246,000.

Fullerton OKs contract for police services

FULLERTON — The Fullerton City Council approved an agreement that will provide police services by the Nance County Sheriff’s Department within the city limits.Under the agreement, the city will pay the county $250,000. Previous contracts between the city and county were for three years.
