FULLERTON — It’s not always the athlete who puts up the most impressive stat line who makes the biggest impact on a team.Sometimes it is the intangibles that make all the difference.
Fullerton was well-represented at the Class D Cross Country State meet. Warrior runners see PRs at State

KEARNEY — It’s been a long road to the Class D Cross Country State Championships. And that road has a lot of miles.Fullerton had three runners participate in the state meet on Friday at Kearney Country Club.

Warriors boys, girls finish 3rd at GRC

BURWELL — Fullerton’s boys and girls both finished third at the Goldenrod Conference meet on Thursday at Calamus Golf Course in Burwell.The boys took third, edging Archangels Catholic by one point. Nebraska Christian won both the boys and girls team titles.

Runners enter final stretch of season

BATTLE CREEK — Mile by mile, area runners are getting closer to next week’s district races.Fullerton and Twin River’s journey to the district race had a stop at Evergreen Hill Golf Course on Friday for the Battle Creek Invite.Fullerton’s girls finished fifth overall.

ORD — Fullerton’s runners are just hitting their stride.The Warriors traveled to Ord on Friday for the Ord Invite. The girls team finished 3rd, while the boys team finished 5th.Morgan Supik finished 4th over all with a time of 22:12.

LOUP CITY — The Warriors had a strong showing on Thursday at the Arcadia/Loup City Invite on Thursday at the Loup City Golf Course.Fullerton’s girls finished second out of five teams. The boys team finished third out of eight teams.

Runners battle wet conditions

ALBION — Fullerton and Twin River continued their cross country seasons on Friday at the Boone Central Invite at Albion Country Club.Makayla Robinson finished 23rd with a time of 22:56, which was 41 seconds faster than she ran at the event last year. Morgan Supik finished 37th with a time of 23:40.

Titans, Warriors complete first test

ST. PAUL — Fullerton and Twin River cross country runners got their first taste of competition on Thursday at the St. Paul Invite at the Miletta Vista Winery.Fullerton’s girls team finished fourth in their race. Fullerton’s boys finished seventh, while Twin River finished 10th.

Warrior runners conditioned to win

FULLERTON — Cross country runners are a different breed.Most teams begin their season with running to get into shape for their sport. In cross country, running is the sport.“Runners earn their ticket to state during the summer!” Fullerton coach Jordan Wetovick said.
