Warriors open season with home win

FULLERTON — The Victory Bell was ringing in Fullerton on Friday.Fullerton (1-0) opened the season with a dominant 56-16 win over Palmer (0-1).“First off, I cannot express enough how proud I am of our young crew,” Fullerton coach Brandon Siegel said. “I saw awesome effort through the entire game.

FULLERTON — Fullerton received word that a number of Warrior football players have received end of season honors.Fletcher Dubas, Maxton Meysenburg, Aidan Bittner, andAndrew Cunningham were named to the D2-3 All-District team.

Warriors fall to No. 10 Panthers, 64-54

BANCROFT — Another couple of minutes and the outcome may have been different.Fullerton (5-4) saw its season come to an end on Thursday in the opening round of the Class D2 playoffs, falling to No. 10 Bancroft-Rosalie, 64-54.The Warriors came out swinging to open the game.

Warriors hit road for playoffs

The Warriors are headed for the football playoffs.Fullerton (5-3) travel to Bancroft-Rosalie (7-1) on Thursday for the opening round of the Class D2 playoffs. Kickoff is at 6 p.m.The Panthers enter the playoffs coming off a 54-28 loss to Wynot.

Warrior defense leads to win

FULLERTON — The old saying goes, defense wins championships.That may or may not be true, but Fullerton’s defense did win Friday’s game against Nebraska Christian. The Warriors improved to 5-1 thanks to a 36-27 win over the Eagles (1-5).
