General Election is underway with early voting

Voting has begun! Early voting began Oct. 7 in Nebraska, but the sad fact of this or any other election is that nationally only 67 percent of the population who are eligible to vote are actually registered to vote, meaning 33 percent of Americans are not registered to vote!

Combatting the Chinese Communist Party

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is the greatest foreign threat facing the United States today. They steal our intellectual property. They pursue economic and trade policies that undermine our economy.

Providing opportunity for our veterans

In October 1988, the Cold War was still simmering. World War II was just a generation ago, fresh in many veterans’ minds and in the hearts of families who lost their parents and grandparents in the conflict.

Alleviating a child care crisis

Experts are calling it a “child care crisis.” We have too few child care workers, too few child care providers, and too many parents seeking care that can’t be found. Nine counties in Nebraska don’t have a single licensed child care facility.

Here comes Election 2024

Fighting wasteful and reckless Washington spending

Our country is headed down a path of fiscal disaster. The Biden-Harris administration has created high prices through their reckless spending. It’s contributed to a national debt of over $35 trillion. That’s over $266,000 per household. It’s a second mortgage for Nebraska families.

What community means to us

The remarkable character of the people of the Third District was unmistakable as I traveled around Nebraska during August.
