It’s time to dust off my old press pass and start plotting my routes.Fall sports are back, and my evenings are about to get very busy.In previous years, I would spend a couple of days entering all the sports schedules into my calendar.

Hide and seek

You have not lived until you have played hide-and-seek with a toddler.Over the weekend, we had some friends over for dinner. After the meal was finished, the kids ran off to play in Timmy and Teddy’s bedroom.

Home-made prank

My house played a prank on me Friday night.Well, it wasn’t so much a prank as my doorknob breaking and my house refusing to let me leave.I had plans to go to a movie Friday night with some friends. They were picking me up at 7 p.m., giving us plenty of time to get to Grand Island for an 8 p.m.

They say that every time you blink, you run the risk of missing something important happening around you.Well, I must have been blinking a lot this summer.We are in the final days of July and are about to turn the calendar to August.
