Warriors punch tickets to State

OSCEOLA — The Warriors are sending six athletes to the Class D State Track Championships.Kane Wetovick punched his ticket for the 400-meter dash and 800-meter run. Kyle Horn punched his ticket in the 110-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles.

BURWELL — The Warriors had a strong showing on Friday at the Goldenrod Conference meet in Burwell.The Fullerton boys team finished fourth at conference meet with 63 points. Nebraska Christian boys and girls swept the team titles.Kane Wetovick won the 400-meter dash (51.49) and 800-meter run (2:03.

FULLERTON — It was the home track, but not a home meet.Fullerton competed on Thursday in the Palmer Invite held at the Fullerton track.Kane Wetovick finished second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.89, just 0.28 seconds behind Nebraska Christian’s Titus Birnie.

Warrior boys win own track invite

FULLERTON — It was delayed because of weather, the field shrank, but when all the dust settled, the Warrior boys won their own invite.Fullerton finished with 120 points on Monday. Central Valley finished second with 93 points. Twin River boys finished sixth with 63 points.

BURWELL — Fullerton had a strong day at the Burwell Invite on Friday.Fullerton boys finished fourth overall with 58.5 points.Kane Wetovick won the 800-meter run with a time of 2:13.35 and finished second in the triple jump with a 10-11.50 leap.

ALBION — The track season continued last Tuesday for Fullerton at the Mansfield Invite at Boone Central.Sami Sullivan finished fourth in the shot put with a 32-06.50.Kane Wetovick finished second in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:10.90 and fourth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 55.04.

CENTRAL CITY — The track season is in full swing and Fullerton and Twin River athletes got their first taste of outdoor competition last week.The Titans and Warriors competed last Tuesday at the Merrick County Invite at Central City.

FULLERTON — Track is back and Fullerton is ready to run wild this spring.The Warriors got their first taste of outdoor competition on Tuesday at the Merrick County Invite (results after deadline). They kicked off the 2026 season last Thursday at Doane’s indoor meet.
