COLUMBUS —Loup Power District’s complimentary cookbooks are now available. The cookbook features recipes submitted by Loup Power District employees and retirees and their spouses.

SNAP benefits paused in November due to federal shutdown

LINCOLN — The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), at the direction of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), will pause Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits on October 29 due to the federal government shutdown.

BCHC Patient Accounts Office relocating November 1

ALBION — Beginning November 1st, the Boone County Health Center Patient Accounts Office will relocate to the South Entrance of the Health Center. This change was made with patients in mind, as the majority of visitors already use the South Entrance for appointments and services.
