Pamylin Amanda Henes, 68, of Fullerton, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, at Boone County Health Center in Albion.

Honoring her family’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Pamylin was born on Dec. 29, 1956, in Dallas, Texas, to Morris and Evylin (Mangus) Walker. She grew up in Fullerton and graduated from Fullerton High School in 1975. She later earned her LPN degree and returned to Texas, where she worked as a labor and delivery and postpartum nurse at Tri-City Hospital and Medical City of Mesquite in Dallas. When her mother’s health declined, Pamylin moved back to Fullerton. There, she also worked part-time as a dispatcher for the Nance County Sheriff’s Department until her own health no longer allowed.

Pam loved crossword puzzles, coloring, and listening to gospel music.

She is survived by her children, David Henes of Tyler, Texas, Dennis Walker of Lincoln, and Takisha Henes of Fullerton; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her brother, Mikeal (Lynn) Walker of Vacaville, Calif.; and her niece, Ashley Walker of Vacaville, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Christine Henes-Broumley and Heather Peel-Hickman, as well as her parents.
