Food pantry moves to new location

FULLERTON — The Fullerton Food Pantry is now located at 205 Fuller St. (old fire hall) along with the Free Little Food Pantry. The pantry is still open every first Wednesday of the month from 5-6:30 p.m. and the Free Little Pantry is open 24/7 for urgent needs or donation drop offs.

9 Warriors selected for Class D All-State Band

KEARNEY — Nine members of the Fullerton band have been selected for the Class D All-State Band.Riley Thomas and Kinzie Sharman will perform with the Jazz Band. Lylla Sabata and Makayla Robinson will perform with the Wind Ensemble.

School board OKs teacher computer purchase

FULLERTON — The Fullerton Board of Education approved the purchase of 30 new computers for teachers at their meeting on Monday.Fullerton Superintendent Dr. Jeff Anderson told the board that the cost of the computers would be $35,370, but $29,144 would be covered by a grant.

Ellie Meysenburg wins Spelling Bee

FULLERTON — Ellie Meysenburg outlasted six of her classmates to win the Nance County Spelling Bee last week.Meysenburg, a seventh grader, was excited to win.“I was feeling pretty confident,” she said, though she admitted that she did not expect to win.
