Our five senses are wonderfully crafted (engineered). Our bodies work with our mind to actively gather data via sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste. Our brain then processes this data and reacts in a multitude of ways, learning from the response in order to modify future responses.

Ten years ago May 13, 2015T.J. Ostransky and Seth Wetovick were honored as the top 10 percent for the Class of 2015.Fullerton FFA announced they were planting a community garden and the community was invited to participate.

Birth

Camryn Lonelle Meyer, a daughter, was born to Alex and Justin Meyer of Belgrade at 5:19 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2025, at Columbus Community Hospital. At birth she weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20.75 inches long. She is joined at home by sisters, Morgan and Reagan, and brother, James.

Anniversary

Gerry and Marilyn McIntyre of Fullerton will celebrate their 69th wedding anniversary this week. The couple was married on May 15, 1956. Cards can be sent to P.O. Box 87, Fullerton, NE 68638.

A lot of things went wrong when your car is off the ground. That was not the case last week as Smith & Sons welcomed Casey Burrows and Wreckmaster for a multi-day tow truck seminar that gave hands-on instruction to area recovery drivers.
