Ten years ago May 20, 2015The end of the school year marked the retirement for four Fullerton school employees: Bill Farrar, Pat Larsen, Tom Barbour and Donna Barbour.Fullerton Area Senior Center was hosting a golf outing and they announced the winning T-shirt design, designed by Korah Dudek.

Fran’s Corner

Our skeleton is amazingly designed. Let’s take a look at the arm. The upper part of your arm is made of one bone, the humorous. The lower part of your arm has two bones, the ulna and the radius. The ulna is on your pinky finger side, while the radius is on your thumb side.

College Notes

CHADRON — Grant Pickrel of Fullerton has been named to the Chadron State College Dean’s List for the Spring 2025 semester. To qualify, students must complete at least 12 credit hours, be pursuing their first bachelor’s degree, earn a cumulative gradepoint average of 3.

Are you thinking summer yet? It will soon be here and so, that means it’s time for parents and kids to make exciting summer plans. And, the folks at Whispering Cedars Baptist Camp have just the adventure for kids, K-6th grade (this fall).

Students tapped into National Honor Society

Congratulations to Terrick Gonsior, Maxton Meysenburg and Ella Pickrel, who were tapped into the National Honor Society on April 10. Terrick Gonsior, son of Scott and Amy Gonsior, was tapped in by his father, Scott.

CHADRON — Grant Pickrel of Fullerton is a candidate for graduation magna cum laude at Chadron State College with a Bachelor ofArts.CSC honored 245 candidates for bachelor’s degrees and 65 candidates for master’s degrees on Saturday in the Chicoine Center.
