Ten years ago March 4, 2015Fullerton’s girls basketball team qualified for State in Class D-1. Fullerton entered play in Lincoln as the No. 4 seed with a 20-4 record.A U.S. District Court judge struck down a Nebraska amendment that defined marriage as between one man and one woman.
I grew up in a church tradition that did not stress giving up something for Lent. So when I first began “rubbing shoulders” with those who do observe this practice, I was amazed at some of the things people chose to give up for that six-week period.
