FULLERTON — A community meeting will take place on March 16 to discuss proposed ballot initiatives.
The informational meeting is set for 7 p.m. on March 16 at the Nance County Event Center at the Nance County Fairgrounds. There will be 3-4 speakers discussing different ballot initiatives.
According to the Nebraska Secretary of State, current petitions in circulation include:
• Choose Life Now Constitutional Amendment
• Sales & Excise Taxes Constitutional Amendment
• Cap Annual Property Valuation Assessments Constitutional Amendment
• Reduce Taxable Property Valuation Initiative
• Nebraska Cannabis Constitutional Amendment
• Teacher Base Salary Initiative
• Hand Count Ballots for Elections Constitutional Amendment
• Winner Take All Electors Constitutional Amendment
• Protect Nebraskans’Initiative and Referendum Powers Constitutional Amendment
• Online Sports Wagering Authorization Constitutional Amendment
• Online Sports Wagering Regulation Initiative
Not all ballot initiatives will be discussed at the community meeting.
