Frankel’s mom, the former Janice Peterson, grew up in Fullerton. She is the granddaughter of Raymond and Phyllis Peterson.

“I am passionate about developing programs that support older adults, enabling them to age in place and maintain a high quality of life within their communities,” Frankel said. “In addition to pursuing my doctorate, I work at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where I manage the Great Plains Primary Care Practice-Based Research Network and lead community engagement, outreach initiatives, and training programs across the state.”
