FULLERTON — Bad guys beware: The Nance County Sheriff’s Office has added two armored vehicles to its emergency response arsenal.

Sheriff Ben Bakewell said the department has received two 1995 Strykers — 12.8-ton, 8-wheeled armored vehicles once used by the Nebraska State Patrol. They’ll now be deployed by the Central Nebraska Special Response Team during high-risk search warrants, barricaded subjec…
