Nance County Road Department would like to Thank all Nance County residents for their patience with the fiber installation. Lumen/Century Link are upgrading their copper network with a new fiber optic network that will increase internet speeds dramatically for where this is being placed. This is for an area around Fullerton in Nance County outside of city limits. Lumen/Century Link is sorry for the inconvenience at this time. This project is planned to be completed by the middle of September but could be completed sooner if there are no more delays like rain. The Nance County Road Department prefers all installations to be done in the middle of the road at a depth of 36-42 inches, this is to protect the lines during regular road maintenance. Nance County would ask for you to please be cautious when the construction crew is in your area. Nance County understands it is not going as smoothly as anticipated but appreciates the patience with the project.
