The Nance County Veterans Memorial & Military Resource Center is sponsoring a county coloring contest for youth in entering kindergarten through fourth grade.
The picture to color may be picked up at the veterans’museum in Fullerton on Sundays until June 29 from 2-4 p.m. The deadline to return entries will be Monday, June 30 at the veteran’s firework stand in Fullerton.
All art will be judged and on display in the veterans’ museum on July 4. First place in each division will receive $5. Second place will receive $2.50. There must be at least five entries in a division before awards will be given.
Division winners will be announced on July 4 at 2 p.m. with photos to follow. All youth may pick up their artwork after the awards presentation.
