Accident occurred on Highway 52 Monday north of Primrose

PRIMROSE — A Fullerton man has died following a motorcycle accident in Boone County on Monday.
Todd Hellbusch, 60, of Fullerton, was traveling southbound on Highway 52 just north of Primrose, when his grey 2021 Harley Davidson ran off the highway at the curve, Boone County Sheriff Denny Johnson said in a press release Tuesday morning. No other cars were involved in the accident and Hellbusch was the only person on the motorcycle.
Boone County 911 Center received a call about the accident at 5:04 p.m. on Monday. Hellbusch was transported to Boone County Hospital, where he later died.
Agencies responding to the accident include Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Albion Police Department, Primerose Fire and Cedar Rapid Rescue. The accident is still under investigation.
