June is upon us, which means all of the fun summer reading activities for kids are going on at the library! Early literacy summer reading program meets every Tuesday in June and July from 10-11:30. The elementary summer reading program starts Tuesday, June 9 with the Edgerton Explorit Center from 1-2 pm and continues Tuesday, June 16 from 1-2 pm with Dino Night Lights, making animal tracks with Sonya and a 3D dino puzzle. Tuesday, June 23 Science Heroes will be joining us from 1-2 pm with a STEM program thanks to a grant from the Nebraska Library Commission. The pool party is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30 from 10 – noon followed by a light lunch in the park sponsored by the Friends of the Library. All pool rules apply. During the month of July we will be focused on teens with Journal It and Book Bedazzling programs along with a new drop-in craft weekly located in the teen area. Stop in for more details.

The new Trail Tale is up at the city park. This year’s title is I’m Bad by Kate and Jim McMullan – check it out while you are on a walk.

Adult Create & Chill will be Wednesday, June 24 from 1-4. Join us for a Diamond Dotz project, adult coloring or choose from various craft kits. BYOB (Bring Your Own Book Club) will be Monday, June 29 at 7:00 pm. Bring a book you have read lately to share with the group!
