Red Wagon Parade set for Oct. 2

FULLERTON — The Warriors are ready for Homecoming.

The Red Wagon Parade and Pep Rally down Main Street will be at 2:45 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2. Fullerton will take on St. Edward/Newman Grove at 7 p.m. on Friday for the Homecoming Game.

The festivities will begin at 2:45 p.m. Friday at the school, with the Booster Club’s Little Red Wagon Parade led by the Fullerton School Band. The red wagons will be followed by the Homecoming Royalty and the football team. There will be a pep rally downtown following the parade at the corner of Broadway and Third Street.

The Warriors’ homecoming opponent will be the St. Edward/ Newman Grove Panthers, whose colors are Maroon, Blue and Black. School groups, businesses and organizations are encouraged to show their support by entering a float in the Red Wagon Parade.

Judging of the floats will be at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2 at the school. Floats should arrive by 2:10 p.m. The Coronation and Dance will take place Saturday, Oct. 3 in the old gym with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. Coronation will take place at 8 p.m. and is open to the public. The high school will hold a dance for students from 8:30-11 p.m.
