On Friday August 25th, the sixth-grade class of Fullerton Public Schools traveled to Grand Island to attend the Nebraska State Fair. The class spent a busy day moving from exhibit to exhibit. Some of the activities included participating in science activities, seeing many animals (both 4H and exotic), enjoying a BMX bike show, and even taking time to celebrate one of their classmate’s birthdays (Austry Adams). Mrs. Hamik, the sixth-grade teacher had her hands full keeping track of all thirty-one of her students but she did have the help of two parent volunteers, Andrea Meysenburg and Andrea Russell.
