GENOA — The second Saturday in August the Genoa Indian School Foundation holds its annual recognition and remembrance day. The school was open from 1884 to 1934, so it has been 90 years since its closing. Approximately 100 people attended this year’s celebration.The day started with feature speaker James Cadwell.
