GENOA — A Silver Creek man was arrested Friday morning after going around Genoa without pants on.
The Nance County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint at 8:53 a.m. that a white male was acting suspicious and had entered the Dollar General naked from the waist down. They also received a report of the man at the Pump and Pantry, where he was accused of not paying for $19 in gas. According to a news release from the Sheriff’s office, multiple witnesses at both locations told police that the man’s genitals were in plain view.
The suspect was identified as Jason M. Hancock of Silver Creek. He was arrested for two counts of indecent exposure and one count of theft by unlawful taking less than $500.
