COLUMBUS — The Columbus Community Hospital Foundation has released its 2025-26 annual report, which highlights how it supports the hospital.
Each year, the foundation raises money to fund important projects, purchase medical equipment and create programs that benefit area patients. Additionally, it offers financial support through scholarships for current and future medical professionals.
“Our annual report provides a glimpse into our bright and exciting future,” said Cori Fullner, director of the Columbus Community Hospital Foundation. “We are grateful to our donors, who trust our foundation and hospital board of directors to help our hospital, staff, patients and community.”
In the 2025-26 fiscal year, the foundation continued to support the upcoming Mead Family Cancer Center. The combined cooperation of the hospital, foundation and private donors secures the center’s future success and allows the hospital to bring all cancer services under one roof and provide cutting-edge treatments.
Jerod Trouba, CCH Foundation board chair, said the foundation has historically received tremendous support from the community and the hospital stakeholders.
“This support throughout this last year continues to make the foundation a strong asset to support Columbus Community Hospital,” he said.
In 2025, the foundation hosted its 22nd annual Holing Out Fore Health golf outing, which raised more than $140,000 to support this year’s projects — two gastroscopes and two wireless fetal monitors. In addition, it provided funding for projects including a sensory processing disorder program and neurodivergent inclusion program.
It also continued a new tradition started the previous December — the Gift Card Christmas Tree Fundraiser. This fun event raised funds for advanced radiation equipment in the Mead Family Cancer Center.
Other topics covered include the following:
• Fund owner gifts
