The public is invited to Public Power Week events throughout Loup Power District’s service territory on Oct. 6–10.
Public Power Week is held the first week of October every year to help customers understand the benefits of public power. Nebraska is the only state in the nation that is served completely by public power utilities.
During the events, customers can learn more about Loup and the benefits of public power as well as Loup’s energy efficiency incentives.
They can also receive a public power gift (while supplies last), enjoy cookies and refreshments, and get a copy of the 2025 edition of the Loup Power District cookbook.
